Grindstone Creek (Grand River tributary)

Grindstone Creek is a stream in Clinton, DeKalb and Daviess counties in the U.S. state of Missouri.[1] It is a tributary of the Grand River.

The stream headwaters are at 39°43′50″N 94°22′01″W and the confluence with the Grand is at 40°01′08″N 94°08′09″W.[1]

Grindstone Creek was named for the fact grindstones were sourced from quarries along its course.[2]
