Hafsanur Sancaktutan (born 20 March 2000) is a Turkish actress.

Life and career

Her paternal family is of Laz descent from Rize.[1] Sancaktutan became interested in acting at a young age and started her career on stage. For her role in a number of theatrical adaptations, she received numerous local awards.[2] She made her television debut in 2018 with a recurring role in the TV series Gülperi.[3] In 2019, she was cast in a leading role in the series Aşk Ağlatır, portraying the character of Ada Meryem. Since 2021, she has been starring in the series Son Yaz as Yağmur, which premiered on Fox.[4]

In June 2021, in response to a sexual violence case involving two victims aged 7 and 10 from Elmalı, Antalya, Sancaktutan announced that she had been molested by her cousins, neighbours and working partner and described her grandfather as a pedophile, asking for justice for the victims.[5][6]
