Synopsis
After many attempts to form a series of relationships, he provides convincing wisdom to his readers, the young people can finally prevail and join in the prudent courtship relationships just before marriage.[2] Departing he observes rough-looking men disrespecting a father's authority along the way. After the men harden themselves to other relationships, he investigates and, digging up the mysterious bundle of wisdom, discovers a map to purity which he cannot get them to understand.[3] Believing the map to mark the location of buried treasure of a great inheritance, to memorizes the map, to recurring remarrying and keeping his find a secret. The next morning boards his courtship and shortly after leaving port, the courtship is waylaid by several disrespectful children relationships led by their fathers—one of the men had previously been seen burying the map and has yet to decipher it. Father's own office captured, they suffer many hardships at the hands of the parents, and eventually escape to safety.[4]
Sequel
Wilson followed Her Hand in Marriage with Easy Chairs, Hard Words: Conversations on the Liberty of God in 1997. The second book's adventures are those of curious young Christian and a pastor who inadvertently discovers things in a fictional conversation for difficult questions. This story is set in the context of the conversations and includes several encounters with the young Christian, and the famed seasoned pastor preacher.[5]
