Hikawahime

Hikawa Hime is a goddess in Japanese mythology.

Overview

She is the daughter of Kuraokami, a Suijin goddess who appears only in Kojiki.

"Hi" is read as "hi", "spirit", "ice", "hinoki" and other borrowed lessons, "river" is a correct lesson and means a river, and "life" is understood to mean a shrine woman, and the name is " There is a theory that it is a shrine maiden who serves a spiritual river, and a theory that it is related to Hikawa Shrine of each country as if it is the same as "Hikawa". In addition, it is considered to be a god related to water, like the parent god Kuraokami, the descendants of Fukabuchi no Mizuya Reika, and Kuraokami.[1]
