Hussain Bakhsh Safari

Hossein Bakhsh Safari (born 1996 in Shibar, Bamyan) is a jujitsu practitioner and MMA fighter from Afghanistan.[1][2] He won a gold medal at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.[2][3] Safari was ranked first in the latest ranking of the Ju-Jitsu International Federation in the field of full contact jujitsu in 2 AD for the second consecutive year.

Biography

Hussein Bakhsh Safarizadeh was born in 1996 in Shibar district of Bamyan province and is from Hazara ethnic group. He emigrated with his family to Pakistan during the years of the Afghan civil war and returned to Afghanistan in 2008 and settled in Kabul. He continued his education until the twelfth grade and temporarily dropped out of school due to economic problems, and later decided to continue his education.[2] Hussein turned to sports at the age of nine and joined the national jujitsu team in 2010–2011. Afghanistan income. In his first overseas competition in Lahore - Pakistan, he defeated his opponents from Iran, Pakistan, Iraq and South Korea to win a silver medal. In addition to jujitsu, he also competes in wrestling and freestyle wrestling.[1]

Hussein Bakhsh Safari won the first medal of the Afghan convoy at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Opponent from Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan to win gold medals.[4][5]

2019 Ju-Jitsu World Championships India

Hussein Bakhsh Safari won three gold medals at the International Jujitsu Competition held in India on April 7, 2019, defeating three opponents.[6][7]

Mongolia 2019 Asian Jujitsu Championships

Hossein Bakhsh Safari won a gold medal in the Contact Jujitsu category and a bronze medal in the Fighting Jujitsu category at the Asian Jujitsu Championships held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia on July 19, 2009.[8]
