IUPAC nomenclature of chemistry
The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has published four sets of rules to standardize chemical nomenclature.
There are two main areas:
- IUPAC nomenclature of inorganic chemistry (Red Book)
- IUPAC nomenclature of organic chemistry (Blue Book)
