Reception

In September 2017, PCWorld gave IVPN a rating of 4 out of 5 and concluded that, although the service is kind of expensive, it has okay bandwidth speeds and a straightforward privacy policy.[2] The service has also been reviewed and mentioned by TechRadar, PC Magazine, privacytools.io, Techlore, and TorrentFreak[3][4][5][6]

The non-profit organization PrivacyTools.io has developed a comprehensive list of VPN Provider Criteria in order to objectively recommend VPNs. As of May 2021, only five VPNs had fulfilled those criteria.[7] IVPN is one of those five recommended VPN services.
