Iann Dior
Michael Ian Olmo (born March 25, 1999), known professionally as Iann Dior (stylized in all lowercase), is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter.[2][3] Olmo is most well-known for his 2020 hit single “Mood”, a collaboration with fellow American rapper 24kGoldn. The song peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and became his first and highest-charting song till date. Olmo's other popular songs include "emotions", "gone girl" (with Trippie Redd), "Sick and Tired" (with Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker), and "Prospect" (with Lil Baby). Olmo has released 1 mixtape ("nothings ever good enough"), 1 studio album ("Industry Plant"), and 2 EPs ("I'm Gone" and "Still Here"). His second studio album, "On To Better Things", is expected to be released in early 2022.

Early life
Olmo was born on March 25, 1999, in the Arecibo area of Puerto Rico to Tommy and Anabelle Olmo[2] and later moved to Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of five.[4] He graduated high school in May 2017.[5]
Career
Fired from a job at UPS in 2019, Olmo started recording his songs on SoundCloud. Olmo's first song on SoundCloud was "cutthroat", which has been played over 5 million times. He subsequently released 7 other singles, one of which was "emotions", his second most popular song to date. These would go on to make up his debut mixtape "nothings ever good enough", released on May 22, 2019. Just 2 months later on July 3, Olmo released the song "what is real", which served as the first and lead single for his debut studio album "Industry Plant". The next day, he released the song "gone girl" (with Trippie Redd), the album's second single and also his third most popular song to date. On October 25, he released the song "Strings" (with Gunna), the album's third single. On November 7, he released the pop punk track "Darkside" (with Travis Barker), the fourth single and opening track of "Industry Plant". "Industry Plant" was published the next day, peaking at 44th on US Billboard 200. Olmo's first release of 2020 came on January 24; the song "Good Day", which served as the first single for his upcoming EP "I'm Gone". On April 17, Olmo released the pop punk track "Sick and Tired" (with Machine Gun Kelly and Travis Barker), the EP's second single. On May 22, he released the song "Prospect" (with Lil Baby), the EP's third single. "I'm Gone" was published on June 12, peaking at 45th on US Billboard 200. On July 24, Olmo was featured on the song "Mood" by 24kGoldn, the lead single from his debut studio album "El Dorado". The song became a commercial success after earning popularity on the video-sharing app TikTok, and was subsequently certified quadruple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). "Mood" peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, where it spent eight non-consecutive weeks, and also topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden. On August 27, Olmo collaborated with record producer Internet Money, as well as American rappers Lil Mosey and Lil Skies, on the track "Lost Me", a single from Internet Money's debut studio album "B4 The Storm". On September 25, Olmo was featured on the song "nothing inside" from Machine Gun Kelly's pop punk album "Tickets To My Downfall". This follows the success of their previous collaboration on "Sick and Tired", released earlier in the year. A remix of "Mood" was released on November 6, featuring singers Justin Bieber and J Balvin. On November 20, Olmo released the song "Holding On", a non-album single that would also be his last release of 2020. To start off 2021, Olmo appeared on the song "Higher" by Clean Bandit on January 29, the second single from their upcoming studio album. On March 12, Olmo collaborated with ILLENIUM on the song "First Time", the fourth single of ILLENIUM's studio album "Fallen Embers". On March 25, Olmo was featured on the remix of the hit song "Heat Waves" by Glass Animals. On April 16, Olmo released the 2 track EP "Still Here", containing the songs "shots in the dark" (with Trippie Redd), and "don't wanna believe". On August 27, Olmo was featured on the song "SEASIDE" from Lil Tecca's second studio album "We Love You Tecca 2". On September 14, Olmo released the single "V12" (with Lil Uzi Vert), the first and lead single of his upcoming second studio album "On To Better Things". The album's second single "let you" was released on November 12. "On To Better Things" was initially supposed to be released on December 3, 2021. It is now expected to drop in early 2022 after it was delayed by his label, 10K Projects. In 2022, Olmo will embark on the Better Things Tour.
