Iiris Suomela

Iiris Suomela (born 1 May 1994) is a Finnish politician currently serving in the Parliament of Finland for the Green League at the Pirkanmaa constituency.[1] She is also a member of the Board of the student union of the University of Tampere.[2] Suomela was elected Member of Parliament in the 2019 parliamentary elections from the Pirkanmaa constituency with 4,873 votes.[3] In the same year, Suomela had also been candidates for the European Parliament elections but had not been elected.[4]

While the elected leader of the Green League, Maria Ohisalo is away in parental leave, Suomela acts as leader of the party.[5]
