Imalia Oktrininda

Imalia Oktrininda (born 27 October 1979) is an Australian paralympic archer. She represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, in Women's individual recurve, and Mixed team recurve.[1]

Oktrininda was born on 27 October 1979 with spina bifida.[2]

Archery

Her para-archery classification is ARW2, or W2 for short [3]

She competed at the 2019 Australian National Indoor Championships.[4] She won the 2021 Australian Para & VI National Championships.[5][6][7] She is ranked 32nd in the world.[8]

In the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, Oktrinidina advanced to the Open 1/8 elimination round of the Women's Individual Recurve. In the 1/16 Round she defeated Jang Moon Jo of the Republic of Korea 7–1. She was eliminated after losing in the Open 1/8 round to Vincenza Petrilli of Italy 6–0. [9]

In the Mixed team recurve in partnership with Taymon Kenton-Smith she was failed to advance past the Open 1/8 elimination round, losing to Poland 6–0. [10]
