Poor Relief (Ireland) Act 1838

The Poor Relief (Ireland) Act 1838 (1 & 2 Vict. c. 56) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which created the system of poor relief in Ireland. The legislation was largely influenced by the English Poor Law Act of 1834.[1]
