Club career

Hopkins spent time with the Virginia Development Academy,[1] before having spells with both the D.C. United[2] and New York Red Bulls[3][4] academy teams.

On July 27, 2021, Hopkins appeared for D.C. United's USL Championship affiliate side Loudoun United, coming on as an 82nd-minute substitute during a 3–5 loss to Charleston Battery.[5]

In the fall of 2022, Hopkins has committed to play college soccer at the University of Virginia.[2]
