Jacky Liew

Jacky Liew (simplified Chinese: 廖城兰; traditional Chinese: 廖城蘭; pinyin: Liào Chéng Lán) is a Malaysian Chinese food critic who writes under the pen name Si Gongzi (食公子).[1]

Biography

Jacky Liew was a journalist and was writing food reviews since 1988.[2][3] Since 1996, he has been writing columns in various Malaysia national publications such as Feminine (Chinese: 风采), Oriental Feminine (Chinese: 美味风采), Nanyang Newspaper, first under the name Liao Chenglan, then Si Gongzi in 2000.[3]

In 2002, Liew became a lecturer at the Today's College of Agriculture, a private educational institution in Malaysia.[4]

Personal life

Liew is married to Christin Lee (李翠枝; Lǐ Cuìzhī).[5]
