Jeddah Super Dome
The Jeddah Super Dome (JSD) is a multi-purpose event space located on Madinah Road, west of King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It will be hosting all local and international exhibitions, conferences and events in the city.[1]
With 210m diameter, 46m height, and 34,636 square meters of covered area, the JSD becomes instantly notable for breaking two related building structure records. First, it is now the largest continuous (non-segmented, non-openable) dome,[2] a record previously held by the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.[3] Second, it is now the world’s largest geodesic dome.[4]
