Joël Delplanque

Joël Delplanque (born 8 June 1946) is a French sports administrator.[1] He is the current 1st vice-president of International Handball Federation (IHF) since 11 November 2017.[2]

Career

Joël Delplanque is a long serving administrator in the French Handball Federation (FFHB). He served as FFHB Director from 1980 to 1982. He was a member of the Board of Directors of FFHB from 2004 to 2008 before being elected as the FFHB President in 2008. He served as FFHB President for 12 years from 2008 till 2020, when he was succeeded by Philippe Bana.
