Joachim Metallmann

Joachim Metallmann (24 June 1889 in Krakow – 21 August 1942 in Buchenwald) was a Polish philosopher of natural sciences, methodologist, professor at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and an interpreter of Whitehead's philosophy.[1]

Circumstances of Metallmann's death

Following his abduction during the Sonderaktion Krakau on 6 November 1939, Joachim Metallmann eventually died at the Buchenwald concentration camp.
