Joe Zenas

Joe Zenas (born 1967) is an American artist, event producer and musician from California, US. He has served as an event producer for various Super Bowl halftime shows, the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, and for Universal Studios’ Creative Group.[1][2]

Early life and career

Joe was born in California, US and has completed his Bachelor of Arts in Music at Michigan State University. While studying at the university, he was awarded a position at Disneyland on The All American College Band. Zenas served as events producer for different live events like the Super Bowl XXVII halftime show which featured Michael Jackson. In addition to Super Bowl halftime shows, Zenas helped to produce other events, including the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games ceremonies in Atlanta, and the Hong Kong 1997 Reunification Spectacular. Zenas served as the producer and director at Universal Studios’ Creative Group.[3][4][5][6]

In 2016 Zenas was appointed to the founding board of directors of the General Entertainment Authority for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In May 2019, Zenas served as the College of Music keynote speaker at Michigan State University. He was also a recipient of the College of Music Distinguished Alumni Award. Zenas has been a noted speaker at Universities and Professional conferences on the topics of experiential design and entertainment including presentations at MIT Media Lab, USC Thornton School of Music, Michigan State University, Destination Dubai (2015), SEGD (2015), Makkah Region Economic Forum (2018), The Joy Conference (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia 2019), Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Conference - SEA (Riyadh, 2021).[7][8][9][10][11]
