Josefa Masegosa Gallego

Josefa Masegosa Gallego (born 1957 in Oria, Almería)  is a Spanish astronomer, scientific researcher at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) of the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia (IAA).[1]

Life

She studied at the University of Granada and at the University of Sussex. In 1988, she obtained a doctorate in Physical Sciences at the University of Granada.[2][3][4]

She is a CSIC scientific researcher at the Andalusian Astrophysics Institute (IAA) where she was head of the Extragalactic Astronomy Department.[5][6][7]
