Applied Probability Trust

The Applied Probability Trust is a UK-based non-profit foundation for study and research in the mathematical sciences, founded in 1964 and based at the University of Sheffield, which it has been affiliated with since 1965.[1][2] It publishes two specialist journals and had published two general interest journals.[2]

Recognition

In 2020, Noah Peres, at the Applied Probability Trust, was recognized by the University of Sydney with the "Applied Probability Trust Prize" for the "School of Mathematics and Statistics"[3] and for the "Faculty of Science".[4]

Each year, the ANU College of Business and Economics may award a prize known as the "Applied Probability Trust Prize", with a monetary value of $200, to a student who received the highest marks in mathematical statistics and either regression modeling or generalized linear models.[5]
