Juicy Girl (2021 film)
Juicy Girl is a 2021 South Korean short film directed by M.J. Kim. The story is inspired by a 1992 South Korean case in which "juicy girl" Yun Geum-i was brutally murdered by a US army private.[1]

Plot
Human trafficking victim Soyoung Kim is forced to work in a South Korean bar as a 'juicy girl', a euphemistic term used for prostitutes near US army bases in South Korea. There, she is noticed by army medic Michael Johnstone, who later kills her. Johnstone is convicted and taken into custody, but is released a few years later. Jane Owens, who evaluated him for parole, disagrees strongly with this decision, but cannot do anything as the family of Kim had decided to take a settlement as part of a deal to release Johnstone.
