Jumeirah Golf Estates consists of over 1,500 villas, town houses and apartments arranged into more than a dozen distinct communities, set alongside two Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf courses,[1] each with a different environmentally themed name Fire and Earth. The Earth Course is the host venue for the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, the season ending tournament on the European Tour.[2]

Metro station

Jumeirah Golf Estates (Arabic: عقارات جميرا للجولف) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line[3] of the Red Line[4] of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving Jumeirah Golf Estates.[5]

The metro station opened on 1 September 2021 as part of Route 2020, created to link central Dubai to the Expo 2020 exhibition site.[6][7][8] The schedule has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.[9]

The station is one of two underground stations on Route 2020. It is located at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Facilities included bus stops, disabled parking, retail units, and a taxi drop-off zone.[5]
