The show revolves around a middle-class couple, Manav and Akanksha Bajpayee, who have different ideologies about money.[1] The show is said to be an Hindi adaption of ARY Digital's popular TV show, Meray Paas Tum Ho.

Plot

Manav, a hardworking and straightforward government officer, follows his principles and rules of life with complete honesty. In contrast, his wife Akanksha desires to lead a luxurious life with everything she wants. Despite not getting everything, they wish for, the two are happy with their son, Yatharth. All goes well until a businessman, Vaibhav Kapoor, who believes anything can be bought by money, falls in love at first sight with Akanksha without knowing her identity. Manav gets a transfer to Indore, and the Bajpayee's have been tricked into shift over when they learn that they will be gifted a bungalow. It turns out that the owner has yet to move out, but due to some reasons, he still lives there. Manav manages to patch things up between Akanksha and her family. Vaibhav and Manav get into a heated argument about following the rules to start his construction, but Vaibhav denies and wants to go with his ways only. Akanksha shares her past with Manav and reveals that she was once Miss Indore but only because her father bribed the judges. She felt humiliated when everyone called her a middle class and that her son studies at a government school. Vaibhav gets his ways with the construction project and eventually meets with Akanksha at his building. Manav refuses to have any connection with Kapoor constructions, so he buys a different flat. Vaibhav hires a spy to check on Akanksha and follow her wherever she goes. Slowly Akanksha starts falling for Vaibhav and drifts away from Manav leaving him heartbroken.
