Karachi Bakery is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. The main store is located in on Moazzam Jahi Market.[1] It was founded by Sri Khanchand Ramnani. It is one of the popular bakeries in Hyderabad.[2] It is known for its fruit biscuits, dil kush and plum cake.[3] As of now Karachi bakery is in five cities Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi. They also export their products to the Middle East, UK and USA for their customer base of Non-resident Indians residing there.

History

The bakery was founded by Sri Khanchand Ramnani, a Sindhi Hindu refugee who migrated from Karachi to Hyderabad in 1947 during the Partition of India.[4][5] In 1953, Ramnani opened the first Karachi bakery of Hyderabad next to Seena Bakery in Moazzam Jahi Market.[4] They have 23 stores in Hyderabad alone.[6]
