Kathleen Burkett

Kathleen Kelly Burkett was an American consultant and Democratic member of the St. Louis County Council.[1] She represented the second district from 2002 to 2014.[1]

Early life and career

For thirty years, Kathleen Burkett managed a small service business in Overland.[1] She now works as a consultant in the same field.[1] She is a member of the Overland Business Association and the North West Chamber of Commerce.[1]

Political career

Kathleen Burkett has been a Director of the Community Fire Protection District, the President of the North Central County 911 Fire Alarm System, a municipal Police Advisory Board member, and a member of the County Board of Highways and Traffic.[1] She is also a member of the National Women's Political Caucus.[1] She has been a member of the St. Louis County Council since 2002.[1] She represents the second district, which contains about 145,000 people.[1]
