Kenora Catholic District School Board

Kenora Catholic District School Board (KCDSB, known as English-language Separate District School Board No. 33B prior to 1999[1]) is a separate school system serving the Kenora District in Ontario.

The Kenora Catholic District School Board provides a values-based education that prioritizes spirituality, community and caring as core parts of its educational programming. While the academic success of a child is very important, Kenora Catholic believes it's even more important that a child grows up to be a good person. The school board provides an education that respects the universal values of all faiths, grounded in Catholic principles. Based in Treaty #3 Territory, Kenora Catholic District School Board recognizes the importance of infusing local First Nation, Métis and Inuit culture and traditions into its schools so that all students, staff and families feel welcomed and valued and understand and appreciate the rich cultural diversity present in the region. The board has a team of staff from an Elder in Residence, First Nation Métis and Inuit Graduation Coach, First Nation Liaison, Jordan's Principle Lead, Language Facilitators, to a First Nation, Métis and Inuit Education Coordinator to help make sure every child has what they need to reach their full potential.

It is the only school board west of Thunder Bay with a dual track French Immersion system from Junior Kindergarten through to Grade 12. They also provide Native Language classes at all grade levels.
