Knut Abraham

Knut Friedrich Alexander Abraham (born 4 June 1966) is a German jurist, diplomat and politician from the Christian Democratic Union. Since 2021, he has been a Member of the German Bundestag.[1]

Early life

Abraham was born and raised in the Hanseatic League.

Politics

He was a member of Young Union before joining the CDU in 1985.

In 2009, 2014 and 2019 he ran unsuccessfully for the European Parliament.[2]

In the 2021 German federal election he contested Elbe-Elster – Oberspreewald-Lausitz II, but was elected to the 20th German Bundestag via the state list.[3]
