Kolaghat Thermal Power Plant High School, is a co-ed higher secondary school located in K.T.P.P.T/S, Kolaghat, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, India. It was established in 1984. It is one of the few schools run by both government and PDCL.

The school follows the course curricula of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) for Standard 10th and 12th Board examinations respectively.[1] Bengali and English both are the medium of instructions in this school. It has two attached primary sections. (one in Bengali and other in English Version).

In the 2009 IIT-JEE examination, Subhodeep Chaudhuri from this noble institution ranked 212 (AIR). He said to The Times of India "I expected a much better rank. I will not opt for IITs but study at ISI Bangalore. Later, I will carry on with my research in mathematics. It has been my long cherished dream. Currently, I am at the Mathematics Olympiad camp in Mumbai. Returning, I will celebrate with my friends by giving them a treat."[2]
