Kosmos 397
Kosmos-397 is one of over 2400 Soviet artificial satellites launched under the Kosmos program.
Kosmos-397 was launched from the Turatam cosmodrome, Baikonur , USSR, on February 25, 1971.[1] The R-36 or RT-2 launch vehicle (8K67, NATO designation SS-9 Scarp or 8K98, NATO SS-13 Savage) with an added stage placed the satellite in orbit around the planet Earth.
