Le tre bandiere

Le Tre Bandiere[1] (Italian: The Three Flags) is an Italian socialist song which originated from the Resistance. The lyrics mention three flags (Black for fascism, white for royalism and red for socialism), the first two being rejected and the last being praised.

Alternate Renditions

There is an alternate version of the song called "Le quattro bandiere" (The four flags) which includes a new verse between the third and the second verses. The new verse talks about the pink flag, calling it "the symbol of who rests".
