Lincoln Fenner

Lincoln Fenner is an Australian filmmaker, writer, director, producer and film editor.[1] He is represented by Imperial Artists Agency in London.[2]

He is the writer, director and creator of “Time Rewind” the 80’s nostalgia SciFi Family Time Travel Adventure feature length movie set in London.[3]

His completed written works include “Thomas Blackwell and The Great Siege” (espionage spy mystery thriller novel) and “Dance of the Seahorses” (romance drama feature screenplay).

Fenner is also known for his feature documentary work: Fame Us (2019), starring David Hasselhoff, and his debut feature More 4 Me (2012).[4][5]The latter being the Winner of the Times Square Audience Award for Best Documentary at The New York City International Film Festival.[6] The film had an Official Screening at the Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film in 2012. The film examines the greed versus need issue in society and focuses on the global problem of extreme poverty. AFF festival director Barry Watterson said of the film: "Fenner has created a mirror where everyone who looks into it will re-evaluate what is ultimately important in their lives."[7]

Fenner wrote and directed the romantic comedy Paid In Full and time travel drama short Another Chance (2005).

After its North American Premiere at Tribeca Cinemas, New York, his debut film More 4 Me opened the weekend at the Ritz Randwick[8] in Sydney at the Australian Film Festival 2012,[9] where he was dubbed “Australia’s answer to cutting edge US Doco maker Michael Moore”. He went on to have an official screening at the Cannes Film Market 2012.[10] His film received a double theatrical release, the second being an extended national nationwide theatrical release with Hoyts Cinemas.[11][12]

Fenner was nominated for a "Best Feature Film - Factual" WASA Award for More 4 Me at the 25th WA Screen Awards hosted by Jack Thompson.[13]

Fenner’s feature film Fame Us takes a critical look at social media, fame and the cultural intersection of the two. His journey to various locations around the world sees him interview David Hasselhoff, Michael Reagan, Anthony Crivello, Tony Lo Bianco, Ralph Rieckermann (Scorpions) and Jon Polito on the topic.[14]

Fenner has appeared and been interviewed in New York Metro, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian, Seven Network’s TodayTonight, ABC, The Sunday Times, The AdelaideAdvertiser, Sonshine FM, 6PR and The West Australian.[15]
