From the 1990s: Alannah Myles with "Black Velvet", Bryan Adams (4 #1 hits) including "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", Snow (musician) with "Informer" in 1993, and Barenaked Ladies with "One Week" in 1998.

From the 2000s: Avril Lavigne with "Girlfriend" in 2007.

From the 2010s: Drake (rapper) with 6 #1 hits as a solo artist like the dancehall "One Dance" and the trap song "God's Plan" in 2018, Magic! with "Rude" in 2014, The Weeknd with 6 #1's like "Can't Feel My Face" in 2015 and "Blinding Lights" in 2020, and Justin Bieber with 5 #1 hits including "What Do You Mean?" in 2015 and "Peaches" in 2021.

All these musicians are from Toronto, except Gordon Lightfoot, Bryan Adams, Avril Lavigne, and Justin Bieber.
