Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh and one of the major cities of South Asia, the fastest growing mega city in the world, has several well planned modern sections and plenty of high-rise buildings. At present there are over 800 high rise buildings in Dhaka.[1] The list below indicates the tallest buildings in Dhaka ranking from highest to lowest based on official heights. Currently, City Centre Dhaka is the city's tallest building, with a height of 171 metres (561 ft).
