Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant

On October 15, 1939, in Lviv, on the basis of the former hangars of the 6th Repair Base of the Commonwealth Air Force, aviation workshops were established with the symbol "133 stationary aviation workshops (CAM)",the main purpose of which was to carry out rehabilitative repairs in the western region of the Soviet Union .

Until 1953, "133 SAM" performed repairs of aircraft, which was in service with the Red Army:

• I-15 aircraft
• I-153 aircraft
• I-16 aircraft
• U-2 training aircraft (PO-2)
• SB-2 high-speed bomber
• TB-3 -heavy bomber
• Li-2- military transport aircraft
• MiG-3 aircraft
• LaGG-3 aircraft
• La-5 aircraft
• La-9 aircraft
• Yak-3 aircraft
• Yak-7 aircraft
• Yak-9 aircraft
• IL-10- attack aircraft
• Tu-2- dive bomber
• Boston A-20 bomber.

At the beginning of World War II, "133 SAM" became part of the South-Western Front. During the war, "133 SAM" repaired and handed over to the active army 1287 aircraft of various types, 2820 aircraft engines, a large number of aviation weapons, radio and special equipment. During 1944–1945, 133 SAMs assembled 800 new IL-10 fighter jets from components obtained from serial aircraft factories.

In September 1946, the 133rd Stationary Aviation Workshop (SAM) was renamed the 272nd Aviation Repair Base (ARB). On May 15, 1947, the 272nd ARB was renamed the 352nd ARB. In 1953, the first stage of the company's activity was completed - the repair of first-generation aircraft (piston aircraft), during which the repair of 16 types of aircraft was mastered. On October 1,1953, 352 ARB received the status of an aircraft repair plant. In 1953, the era of jet repair began at the plant. The aviation specialization of the plant was determined - light front-line fighters and fighters - MiG-type bombers. The MiG-15 aircraft became the plant's first jet.

From 1953 to 1979 the plant repaired second generation aircraft:

• MiG-15 aircraft
• MiG-17 aircraft
• MiG-21 aircraft

Since 1979 , the plant began repairing third-generation aircraft: MiG-23 and MiG-27 of all modifications. Between 1983 and 1989 , the plant converted MiG-27 aircraft into MiG-27D aircraft. In 1989 , the plant repaired ten thousand jets. In 1992 , the development of the repair of the fourth generation aircraft began - the MiG-29 aircraft of various modifications. In the same year, the Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant LDARZ was granted the status of the State Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense (Ukraine)

At present the company performs:

• repair of MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27 and MiG-29 aircraft, their units and equipment, including the whole complex of works on restoration of service life and service life;
• repair of glider units and systems;
• development and supply of technological documentation for the development of repair of aircraft glider units and systems;
• manufacture and supply of non-standard technological equipment developed by specialists of the enterprise for repair of aircraft.
