Malek Afsari

Malek Afsari also spell as Malek Afsary is a Bangladeshi film director, who has directed 24 films till date. Malek Afsari began his career as an assistant director in the early 1970's. He made his film debut as an assistant director in "Piyasi Mon". He then wrote the story for "Lutera" and the dialogue for "Kar Pape". She made her directorial debut in 1983 with the film "Ghorer Bow". He is best known for his 1996 film Ei Ghor Ei Songshar and Password.[1][2][3]

Biography

His directorial debut was the 1980 film Gharer Bou.[4] He married actress Rosy Samad in 1981.[5]

Filmography

He achieved fame directing Ei Ghor Ei Songshar (1996).[6] He then went on to make films like Hira Chuni Panna (2000), Thekao Mastan (2001), Ulta Palta 69 (2007), Moner Jala (2011),[7] Full and Final (2013),[8] Antor Jala (2017),[9] and Password (2019).[10]
