Manoj Kumar Pramanik

Manoj Kumar Pramanik (Bengali: মনোজ কুমার প্রামাণিক) is a Bangladeshi television, film actor and university teacher. Manoj has worked in numerous TVC, web originals and Bangladeshi TV dramas. Sincerely Yours, Dhaka is his first released feature film. Also his upcoming films are 'Operation Sundarbans', 'Mon Mondir’, 'Manusher Bagan', Mission Extreme, 'Bhalobasher Pritilota'[1][2][3][4]

Birth and education

He grew up in Radhanagar of Niamatpur Upazila in Naogaon District of Rajshahi.[5] He Studies Theatre and Performing arts at the University of Rajshahi. By profession, he is an actor and lecturer at the Dept. of Film and Media Studies, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University,[6]

Profession

He started working as an assistant director to Amitabh Reza Chowdhury in 2006. He acted in the movie 'Balu Ghari' in 2006 while studying at Rajshahi University. In 2010, Manoj was a member of Assistant Directorial team of Goutam Ghose's acclaimed film Moner Manush.[7] Along with assisting, he also starred in an Advertisement for Grameenphone. In 2014, he starred in a TV Drama called Kache Ashar Golpo and later in a drama in the series. In 2020, he worked with Tasnuva Tisha, Rafiath Rashid Mithila in Banglalink advertisement. In 2014, he started acting regularly in TV Drama,‘Phul Phutanur Khela’,‘Kotha Chilo’,'Mon Bolche Jabo Jabo',‘Sirer Meye’,'Bhairobi','NIshidha Bashor','Twin Returns', ‘Viral Girl’ ,'Two Mad Man', ‘Kotha Hobe To? ,‘Potongoshikari Phul’ are his notable work[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]

He also starred in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's Saturday Afternoon,[25] Gaushey Alexander's The Halt, Tanim Rahman Angsu directed 'Shahoshika'.[26] Recently his performance has captivated the audience for Taqdeer (TV series), Raihan Rafi' s webfilm 'Darkside of Dhaka'.[27][28][29][30]

[31] In 2021, he formed a production house with his students named MANpaCHITRA and executed an eid special Short film TV series called '7 Dugune 14' premiered in Deepto TV and also available in OTT platform Bioscopelive.[32] All the short films in this series is being directed by his university student.[33] On the occasion of 50 years victory celebration of Bangladesh, as like '7 dugune 14' a 5 short film series named 'Gaibo Bijoyeri Gaan' executed by MANpaCHITRA is going on air on satellite TV on 16 December 2021 and then it will be available on OTT platform BioscopeLive. This series is also directed by MANpaCHITRA's in-house directors. [34]There are also two more films produced by Manpachitra awaiting release "Akjon Telapuka" and "Jay Jay Din".
