Manyavar
Manyavar is a Kolkata originated Indian ethnic wear brand owned by Vedant Fashions Pvt Ltd (VFPL).[1][2][3] The company was founded by Ravi Modi.[4][5]
History
Modi worked at his family's garment store in Shakespeare Sarani. In 1999, he started working on Manyavar concept with a capital of INR 10,000. He initially sold through other retailers like Pantaloons and later founded VFPL in 2002. The first outlet was started in Bhubaneshwar in 2008.[6] Later in 2017, Manyvar got into women's ethnic garments.[7][8] In 2021, the company was looking to file for IPO.[9]
