Martine Broda
Martine Broda (17 March 1947 in Nancy – 23 April 2009 in Paris) was a French poet, literary critic and translator.
Although having studied both writing and philosophy, Broda turned chiefly to writing poetry, becoming a member of the poetry group for the review Action poétique. She also worked for the French National Centre for Scientific Research, researching modern poetry.
She translated and wrote commentaries on the German-language poems of Paul Celan.
She is buried in Montparnasse Cemetery.
