Maryna Paulava

Maryna Mikalajeuna Paułava (Марына Мікалаеўна Паўлава, born 21 January 1989 in Kobryn) is a Belarusian volleyball player. She played with the Belarus women's national volleyball team. She competed at the 2015 Women's European Volleyball Championship, 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship, and 2018 Women's European Volleyball League.[1]

Life

She practiced athletics, in javelin and high jump. She began her volleyball training at the age of 11, which after graduating from high school she continued at the Olympic Reserve School in Brest.

As a junior, she started playing in the middle position, but over time she was moved to all other positions (she played successively as a playmaker, attacker, libero, receiver, libero again and once again receiving). In 2006, she became a competitor of the local Dywannik (rus. Kovrovshchik),which in 2013 transformed into the club Prybuzhzha Brest. With the Brest team – in which she served as captain – she won the gold (2014/2015) and bronze (2013) medals of the national championships and the Belarusian Cup (2014)

On the club level, she played for Pribuzhie Brest, and Budowlani Toruń, [2]
