Matthew Hutton (MP)

Matthew Hutton (20 October 1597 1666) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1626.

Hutton was the son of Timothy Hutton of Marske, Yorkshire. He matriculated from Trinity College, Cambridge at Easter 1615.[1] In 1626, he was elected Member of Parliament for Richmond.[2] He was a noted Royalist in the Civil War.[1]

Hutton married Barbara D'Arcy daughter of Sir Conyers D'Arcy in 1617.
