Early Life

St. Michaels says he was sent to live in Mexico City as a child because his father thought the US was losing World War II, and as a result, lived next door to Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo.[6]

St. Michaels served in the military, but exited before Vietnam. He then worked as a celebrity hairdresser and helped run a late ’70s punk venue in San Diego, The Skeleton Club.[7]

Career

His first on-screen appearance was the episode "Mrs. Z" of the television series Diff'rent Strokes. He played mostly small roles in films and television for a number of years, including parts of In Living Color, Columbo, and Married... with Children.[8]

In 1987, St. Michaels appeared in the cult horror movie, The Video Dead.[9]

In 2016, St. Michaels appeared as the lead in The Greasy Strangler, which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, and started a working relationship with director, Jim Hosking that led to St. Michaels returning for other projects including the Adult Swim TV series, Tropical Cop Tales.
