Miguel Acosta (footballer, born 1998)
Miguel Acosta Mateos (born 16 March 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Canadian club Atlético Ottawa.

Club career
Atlético Madrid
Acosta joined the academy of La Liga club Atlético Madrid in 2010.[1] On 29 January 2017, he made his senior debut with the B team in the Tercera División against Unión Adarve.[2] He went on to make eight appearances for the B team that season.[2]
Getafe B
In summer 2017, Acosta signed with fellow Tercera División side Getafe B, and went on to make 38 appearances that season, scoring two goals.[2] The following season, he made 33 league appearances and one in the promotion play-offs to the Segunda División B.[2] During the 2019–20 season, after the team was promoted, Acosta made seventeen appearances.[2]
Atlético Baleares
In summer 2020, Acosta switched to Atlético Baleares, making thirteen appearances.[2]
Atlético Ottawa
On 20 May 2021, Acosta signed with Canadian Premier League side Atlético Ottawa, a club owned by Atlético Madrid.[1]
