Mohamed Ali Mehtab Ali

Mohamed Ali Mehtab Ali is an Indian politician who was the Four-term Member of the State Legislative assembly.[1] He served as the Cabinet Minister for excise and Rural Industries in 1957[1][2] and Minister for Transport and Tourism 1967 - 1971, for Transport 1974 - 1977[3][4] and the MLA from Gulbarga constituency for the state of Karnataka.

Mohamed Ali was born in 1919. Mehtab Ali was his father.[1]

He completed his Graduation in Bachelor of Arts LLB from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1942.

Constituency

Political career

Mohamed Ali Mehtab Ali joined Indian National Congress in 1947.[1] He served as a president of Hyderabad Pradesh Civil Board before reorganization of States.[1] In 1952, He got elected in Hyderabad Assembly.[1] In1957, He got elected in Mysore Assembly and served as Minister for excise and Rural Industries.[1][2] He became PCC President twice of Assembly in 1967.[1] He also became Minister of Transport and Tourism 1967 - 1971 and for Transport 1974 - 1977.[3] He was also member of Congress Working Committee and Central Parliamentary Board.[1]
