Molly Bartrip

Molly Bartrip (born 1 June 1996) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Tottenham.[2]

Personal life

In 2018, Bartrip revealed that she had anorexia nervosa during her teenage years.[3]

Career

Molly Bartrip started her playing career at Tottenham U10s team, in the mid-2000s. She then went on to play for Charlton Athletic and Arsenal.[4]

Reading

Bartrip joined Reading in 2014.[5] She played four matches in the WSL Cup for Reading, but did not make her first league appearance until 2016. She has since gone on to play 59 games for Reading; she scored her first goal for the club in the 2017/18 WSL Cup. She left the club in 2021, along with seven other players.[6][7]

Tottenham Hotspur

She joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2021, for an undisclosed fee.[8] Her contract runs until 2023.[2] She played her first game in a 1–0 win over Birmingham City.[9]
