Monument to Bulbul
The Monument to Bulbul (Azerbaijani: Bülbülün heykəli) is a monument to the Azerbaijani singer Bulbul (1897–1961).[1] It was created by the sculptor Akif Askerov and is located in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, on Bulbul Street, not far from the house where the singer lived.[2]

The monuments unveiling took place on 31 October 2012. The opening was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation, Polad Bulbul oglu, and other guests.[2] [3] [4][5] [6]
