Murasu TV (English: Drumstick Television) is a Tamil-language 24x7 movie channel that was owned by Kalaignar TV Pvt Ltd.[1][2] Earlier it was launched as a classic movie and music channel.[3][4]

History
Murasu TV was launched on 26 January 2012 at the day of Republic Day launched by the Former chief minister M. Karunanidhi.
Movie Channel
In October 10,Murasu TV was refreshed in to 24×7 movie channel. In Weekdays, It airs old movies on 7a.m 11a.m and 3p.m In Weekdays, Evening It airs Super Hit Movies on 6p.m and 9:30p.m In Weekend, It aired Super Hit Movies on 6a.m 9a.m 12p.m 3p.m 6p.m and 9p.m
