Nana Mensah (actress)

Nana Mensah is an American actress, writer, and director known for her roles in 13 Reasons Why, An African City, New Amsterdam, Bonding, and The Chair.[1] Mensah's directorial debut, Queen of Glory, will be released in 2021.

Background

Mensah was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, the daughter of immigrants from Ghana. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and sociology from the University of Pennsylvania, she intended to attend law school, but instead moved to New York City and became an actress. She trained at the Actors Center.[2][3][4]
