Nemuri Kyōshirō manji giri
Nemuri Kyōshirō manji giri (Japanese: 眠狂四郎 卍斬り) is a 1969 Japanese film directed by Kazuo Ikehiro.[1] It is based on Renzaburō Shibata's novel series Nemuri Kyoshiro. The lead star is Hiroki Matsukata.[2][3] He played the role of Nemuri Kyoshiro as a replacement for Ichikawa Raizo VIII.[1][4] In this film Masakazu Tamura played a villain(Later he played Nemuri Kyoshiro for a long time.)[5][6]

Plot

Senior vassal of the Kishiwada clan, Naito Mondo askes Kyōshirō is to assasin a woman loved by the lord of the Kishiwada clan. Kyōshirō gets involved in a conflict between Satsuma clan and Kishiwada clan. One day, he is attacked by the assasins of the Satsuma clan and Kyōshirō finds a half breed samurai like Kyōshirō in them.
