GALATASARAY ISLAND PROBLEM
Osmanoglu claimed the ownership of Galatasaray Island in 2017. Galatasaray Island, which Nilhan Osmanoğlu called "Grandpa" and wanted, seems to belong to Galatasaray Sports Club, according to the records. According to the legal practice, due to the "10-year statute of limitations" period, there is no opportunity to take any legal action against the island in Turkey.Sultan II. Abdülhamit's grandson, Nilhan Osmanoğlu, claimed the right to Galatasaray Island in the Bosphorus, and Galatasaray Sports Club management objected to this situation.
According to the records in the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre under the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, the first title deed registration of Galatasaray Island belonged to the chief architect Serkiz Efendi in 1880. The island was registered in the name of Government-i Seniyye-i Osmaniyye in 1909 after Serkiz Efendi passed away. As a result of a lawsuit filed in 1941, a family owns the island after Serkiz journeyman proves that they are his heirs. In the cadastral works carried out in 1948, the registration of the island is made on this family. According to the records, the owners then gradually sell their shares to Galatasaray Sports Club, and the last records for the island include these transactions.
10-YEAR TIMEOUT
After the proclamation of the Republic, a law called the "Cadastral Law" is established. This law, which enables the measurement of Turkish lands and the determination of their owners according to certain procedures, also includes a "10-year statute of limitations". According to the regulation in question, the owners of the registered land are given the right to appeal through the court within 10 years.
DOMESTIC LEGAL WAYS CLOSED
Since there has been no objection to Galatasaray Island since the owners sold their shares to Galatasaray Sports Club, and there is no mistake in the name of the island's sports club, all domestic legal remedies for claiming rights here seem to be closed. [2]
THE PROBLEM WITH ISMET INONU
2. Abdülhamid's grandson, Nilhan Osmanoğlu, told a meeting he claimed to have taken place between the Abdülhamid family living in France and former President İsmet İnönü at a conference he attended on February 5. Osmanoğlu claimed that İnönü told the members of the Ottoman dynasty who wanted to return to Turkey, "There is a price for this," and took the jewels in their hands.
Letters were published revealing that this claim was false. CHP Bursa Deputy Nurhayat Altaca Kayışoğlu announced the letter written by İsmet İnönü's aide, and said, "There were letters that denied the letters that Ms. Nilhan explained about İsmet İnönü. Here is the essence of truth and intrigue." Kayışoğlu said, "We learn that Şadiye Sultan's assistant fell in love with the aide and asked him to take him to Istanbul, and when the aide did not accept this, he threatened his unrequited love." While the discussions were going on, Habertürk writer Prof. Dr. Temel Yılmaz wrote an article titled “The story of a 15 lira receipt and a statesmanship lesson from İsmet İnönü”. The article is summarized as follows:
“One of the most important events on the agenda in the past weeks was a claim by a woman from the Ottoman family about İsmet İnönü, the second President and one of the heroes of the War of Independence.
