Norte (wind)

The Norte is a strong cold north wind which blows in from the northeast in Mexico[1] along the Gulf of Mexico. It primarily effects the states along the Coast, including: Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, and Yucatán.[2] Unlike El Nino, it's a localized wind and not part of a broader climate pattern.[3]
