North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homeopathy
North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), is an autonomous institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, within the government of India. It is situated at Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya. It was formally inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Ayush Shripad Yesso Naik on 22 December 2016.[1]The institute has started a Ayurvedic and a Homoeopathic college with the admission capacity of 50 students each (BAMS and BHMS Courses) from the session 2016 - 17.[2]

As of 2016 the Institute offers a four and a half year degree course in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery.[3]
